Wine without mythology
Restaurants may offer Ecuadorian and imported wines, but there is no basis for describing Galápagos as an old wine-growing region.

Ecuadorian beer is common and small craft projects have operated in the islands. Availability changes, so brands should be checked locally rather than treated as permanent institutions.
Island coffee
Coffee is grown in suitable highland areas on inhabited islands. Production is modest but connects volcanic soils, agriculture and local livelihoods.

Sun, heat and boat travel make hydration important. Refill systems reduce waste; follow current restrictions on single-use plastics and operator rules.
Supply and price
Most packaged drinks depend on mainland freight. Transport, storage and waste handling help explain why island prices can be higher than on mainland Ecuador.
